The Tunisian Company of Telecommunications Enterprises (SOTETEL) said it had achieved a turnover of about 44.2 million dinars in 2019, against 47.3 million a year earlier, thererfore recording a decline of 6.5%.
The local turnover posted a decrease of 9.6% to reach 41.5 million dinars, against 45.9 million at the end of December 2018, while the export turnover went from 1.1 million dinars to 2.3 million dinars between 2018 and 2019, i.e. a growth of 102%.
In 2019, the company posted an EBITDA of 1.23 million dinars, down 77.3% compared to 2018, mainly explained by a simultaneous decrease in turnover and gross margin as well as the increase in operating expenses.
