Visiting Sousse , French Ambassador in Tunis François Gouyette reaffirmed the support of France to Tunisian tourism.
Although Tunisia promises to do everything to ensure the safety of tourists, tourism local tourism professionals, however, remain pessimistic for the rest of the season.
The reason is that Ambassador of France in Tunisia François Gouyette said, Tuesday, April 5, 2016, during his visit in the city of Sousse , on the sidelines of the closing of the rehabilitation works of the ancient city of Sousse , funded by the French Agency development, his country’s government “cannot force the French to visit Tunisia .”
However, François Gouyette reassured that France is increasing its efforts to encourage French tourists to come to Tunisia and especially to Sousse , which is providing, in his words, “good safety conditions for its attractions.”
