Tunisia: AeTECH sees its revenues fall by 29% to 7 million dinars in 2019

AeTECH has published its business indicators for the year ending December 31, 2019. These indicators show an annual turnover down by 29% to 7.1 million dinars, against 10 million dinars a year earlier.

Revenues from the distribution business decreased by 43% compared to 2018 as a result of the discontinuation of the marketing of very low margin GSM products. Revenues from the solutions business went up by 27% compared to 2018.

The company’s operating expenses (excluding depreciation and provisions) were under control in 2019, down 40% from 2018, dropping from 11.1 million to 6.7 million between 2018 and 2019.

At the end of Q4 2019, the EBITDA margin improved significantly from -10.1% in 2018 to 18.4%. For the full year, the EBITDA margin stood at 5.55% compared to -11% in 2018.
