STAR Assurances announced that its Board of Directors, which met today, Thursday 7 March 2024, reviewed the company’s activities during the 2023 financial year and approved the individual and consolidated financial statements for the 2023 financial year.
These statements show earned premiums of 393.1 million dinars compared to 381.6 million dinars in 2022, an increase of 3%, and an individual net profit of 27 million dinars compared to 31.9 million in the previous year, a decrease of 15%.
As for the consolidated financial statements, they show a consolidated net profit of 23.2 million dinars, compared to 29.3 in 2022, down about 21%.
The Board of Directors has also decided to convene an Ordinary General Meeting on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at the company’s headquarters and to propose the distribution of a dividend of 6.427 dinars per share, compared to 6.220 dinars last year.
