The insurance and reinsurance company (STAR) has just announced that its Board of Directors met on March 06, 2020 and reviewed the company’s activity during the financial year 2019 and approved the financial statements for this year.
These statements show a net result of 22 million dinars, against 17.7 million in 2018, posting a growth of 24.3%.
The company also announced the realization of written premiums up by 4.5% to 374.8 million dinars, earned premiums up by 3% to 370.5 million and claims expenses net of reinsurance stagnating at 285.9 million.

In addition, STAR posted an increase in net investment income by 15.9% reaching 77.4 million dinars in 2019, against 66.8 million in 2018.
The Board decided to propose the distribution of a dividend of 3.820 dinars per share, compared to 3.075 dinars last year, and to convene the company’s shareholders for a meeting of the Ordinary General Meeting on Wednesday 22 April 2020.
