In order to support economic operators at this time of challenge marked by the repercussions of the COVID-19 health crisis, the STB tirelessly continues its support to customers and in particular companies, particularly through mobilizing specific financing.
Under this angle, and in synergy with the regulatory measures, the bank has set up a support unit and a COVID committee to respond quickly to customer requests with flexible release mechanisms.
Within the framework of these efforts, COVID cash credits were granted. The number of financing files requested amounted to 1,295 files totaling 733.2 million dinars, including a part that is not eligible for the SOTUGAR guarantee.
To date, approvals have reached 124 million dinars, in addition to the extension of credit deadlines in accordance with BCT circulars on the subject.
In addition and outside this line, the STB also mobilized 180 million dinars in the form of advances on current accounts which affected 1,500 companies to meet the cash flow needs of customers, companies and professionals.
In short, the bank has put in place an entire operational system adapted to the context, enabling companies impacted by the crisis to cope with the cash flow difficulties they have experienced.
