Tunisia’s state grains agency ODC has issued an international tender to purchase about 100,000 tons of soft milling wheat and around 75,000 tons of animal feed barley, European traders said on Tuesday.
The origin was optional. The deadline for submission of price offers in the tender is Wednesday, Nov. 10.
The wheat and barley are both sought in 25,000-ton consignments.
The wheat is sought for shipment between Dec. 1, 2021 and Jan. 15, 2022, depending on origin supplied.
The barley is sought for shipment between Dec. 15, 2021 and Jan. 20, 2022, also depending on origin supplied.
In its last reported tender on Oct. 22, the ODC purchased about 50,000 tons of soft wheat at the lowest price of $373.45 a ton c&f and 50,000 tons of animal feed barley at the lowest price of $346.05 a ton c&f.
