Tunisia will receive nearly 4 million 336 thousand COVID-19 vaccine doses by the end of 2021, head of the national coronavirus vaccination campaign Hechmi Louzir told TAP Monday.
Louzir added that the country has received so far 13 million 520 thousand 972 doses of coronavirus vaccines.
The central pharmacy currently has 3 million doses, while 200,000 doses are available in vaccination centers in different regions of the country and 290 thousand doses still waiting for authorization to be used, said Louzir.
The pace of vaccination is still slow, regretted Louzir, noting that the Ministry of Health invites 100 thousand people per day of which only 30 to 50 thousand show up.
