Tunisia-Tourism: 80% increase in Swiss demand for autumn

“The Swiss are less fearful than a year ago about possible trips to Egypt or Tunisia.

Reservations for this autumn have increased, with terrorism being less evoked in the media, “writes the Swiss website Arcinfo.ch.

Quoting the Swiss TO “Hotelplan”, the same source indicates that “For Tunisia, bookings soared 85%”.

“Egypt and Tunisia have not recently experienced attacks and the media speak less of” terrorism “in these two destinations,” said Prisca Huguenin-dit-Lenoir, spokesman for Hotelplan Switzerland.

“As a result, customers are less afraid and are more likely to opt for these two countries.”

The Swiss information site spoke of TUI Switzerland where the demand for Tunisia has increased by 80%.
