Tourism receipts in Tunisia reached 3.8 billion dinars at the end of the first seven months of the current year, according to figures from the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT).
This represents a growth of 53% compared to the same period last year, an increase of 1.3 billion dinars.
In euro terms, tourism receipts amounted to 1.14 billion euros (average monthly rate on the interbank market = 3.3475 dinars).
The Ministry of Tourism recently announced that Tunisia had received 5 million tourists by the end of July 2023, including Tunisians living abroad.
