Tunisia’s tourism earnings reached 1.2 billion dinars until June 20, 2013, up 0.2% compared to the same period of 2012, said Minister Tourism Jamel Gamra at a press briefing.
This is an ambitious amount to reach the figures set by the ministry, he indicated, adding: “We want to continue this upward trend.”
The Minister also said that the UK market has seen the largest increase in terms of number of visitors to Tunisia, posting an increase of 27% compared to 2012 and 16% compared to 2010. However, the largest decrease was recorded on the French market.
