Tourism revenues in Tunisia continue their upward trend. According to the latest data published by the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), they reached 6,264 million dinars as of September 30, 2025, compared to 5,789 million dinars for the same period the previous year.
Expressed in US dollars, the tourism sector’s revenues reached 2.07 billion dollars (based on the average monthly interbank market exchange rate over the 9 months of the year: 1 dollar = 3.019 dinars).
This performance represents an increase of nearly 8.2% year-on-year, confirming the sector’s resilience despite a national economic context marked by budgetary and financial challenges.
The dynamism of Tunisian tourism is explained by the increase in the number of international arrivals, particularly from traditional European and Maghreb markets, as well as by better valuation of tourist and hotel services.
As the end of the year approaches, professionals in the sector are optimistic about reaching, or even exceeding, the targets set for the 2025 financial year, with a positive impact expected on the balance of payments and the national economy.
