The company TPR (Tunisie Profilés Aluminium), the Tunisian leading aluminum alloy profiles manufacturer, has informed its partners that due to the continuous rise in the price of aluminum as well as other inputs, it is forced to readjust its prices as of Monday 21 February 2022.
Indeed, from today, the prices of all profiles and finishes (anodized, raw, lacquered and wood effect) will be increased by 15%.
The price of aluminum reached 3,287 dollars per ton Last Friday, after having come close to one dollar off its all-time high of July 2008 at 3,317 dollars.
As with most commodities, the metal is supported by fears of major supply disruptions if a war is declared between Russia, the world’s third largest aluminum producer, and Ukraine.
