The airline TRANSAVIA will launch its first flights from Paris to Tozeur-Nefta International Airport, at the end of October 2023, the Ministry of Tourism announced on Wednesday.
This decision follows a virtual meeting between Minister of Tourism, Mohamed El Moez Belassine, and Nicolas Henin, Deputy Managing Director of TRANSAVIA.
It is the culmination of a long process that began last February, following a series of meetings between Belhassine and senior officials from TRANSAVIA and AIRFRANCE, as well as promotional campaigns by the Ministry and the National Tourist Office to develop Tunisia as a tourist destination.
