Tunisia, EU to start negotiations on free trade soon

Tunisia will soon start negotiations with the European Union (EU) to strengthen and deepen the comprehensive free trade agreement.

Worth recalling that this step would complement the agreement signed on July 17, 1995 on the gradual establishment of a free trade agreement between Tunisia and the EU within the Euro-Mediterranean economic area.

This area includes 15 member countries of the EU and 12 Mediterranean countries in which goods, capital and services can move freely, thus promoting the integration of economies of the region and creating a dynamic partnership carrier of growth and development.
