National flag carrier Tunisair operated 2,400 flights and carried 265,000 passengers from August 20 to September 10, 2012.
Minister of Transport Abdelkarim Harouni, who announced these figures, said this is a record with respect to the hundred flights that the company has used to operate daily and which reached 210, during the last period.
Tunisair expects to carry four million passengers in 2012.
