A group of Turkish investors chose the city of Sidi Bouzid to set up a farm produce processing project.
At a first stage, this project is expected to create some 3,000 jobs, with the ultimate target of reaching 9,000.
Sidi Bouzid was selected due to its rich human and agricultural resources and its privileged national position in vegetables production, notably tomatoes and potatoes.
A Turkish delegation visited Sidi Bouzid to supervise the project’s setting-up.
