A slight increase in the unemployment rate was recorded in Tunisia, according to figures of the report on population and employment, developed by the National Statistics Institute (INS).
The unemployment rate went up from 15.3% in the third quarter 2015 to 15.4% in the fourth quarter of last year.
The number of unemployed stood at 618,800 on 4,020,800 which constitute the overall workforce.
In detail, 12.5% of men are affected by unemployment and 22.6% of women were jobless in the fourth quarter 2015.
As for unemployed university graduates, their number is 241,400 in the fourth quarter 2015, compared with 242,000 in the third quarter 2015, which gives us 31.2% and 32% respectively…
