Ambassador of the United States in Tunis Jacob Walles said, Wednesday, January 7, 2014, that the aid given by his country to Tunisia have reached $ 550 million and may be revised upwards in 2015.
Jacob Walles pointed to the success of the democratic transition in Tunisia notably with the holding of legislative and presidential elections.
He also announced the holding in the month of March of a forum entitled “Investment in Tunisia,” in association with the Chamber of Commerce of Tunis, adding that US businessmen want to invest in Tunisia if security is restored in Tunisia.
