Zenith Energy Ltd. said Tuesday that its ROB-1 well onshore Tunisia will restart oil production on June 8.
The energy company had suspended production at ROB-1 due to increasing water influx.
Zenith has now confirmed that this was caused by major corrosion in the casing and a lack of cementing in the location of perforations performed in 1988.
Workover operations are starting today and established production is expected to be achieved on or before June 18.
