President of the Republic Kaies Saied stressed that the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) will remain an active national partner and a national force that will contribute to facing the various challenges recorded in the country at this delicate stage of its history.
Saied also congratulated Noureddine Tabboubi on his re-election as Secretary General of the trade union centre. The President of the Republic also congratulated the members of the new executive board.
Saied also stressed the importance of the role of the UGTT in protecting Tunisia and building the future of the next generations. Tabboubi was re-elected Secretary-General of the UGTT and two women joined the executive board of the Union, following the 25th congress held in Sfax on February 16, 17 and 18.
