West African Development Bank to fund Abidjan interchange

The Ivorian Economy and Finance Minister, Nialé Kaba, and the President of the West African Development Bank, Christian Adovelande, on Thursday signed a loan agreement for FCFA 14 billion to fund the construction of an interchange in Abidjan, the Ivorian economic capital.

The Bank initially granted Cote d’Ivoire FCFA 6 billion in 1999.

The total cost for the construction of the interchange on Valéry Giscard d’Estaing boulevard is estimated at FCFA 29.695 billion francs.
