2nd “Tunisia Global Forum” July 22 in Tunis

Over 1,500 participants are expected at the second edition of the Tunisia Global Forum (TGF), set for July 22 in Tunis, organized by the Association of Tunisians from Top Schools (ATUGE).

Held under the theme “Innovate to Attract, Invest to Transform,” the forum aims to mobilize Tunisian talents from around the world and connect them with local business and innovation ecosystems, accelerating national transformation and boosting Tunisia’s international standing, said ATUGE President Amine Aloulou at a press conference on Tuesday.

With more than 120 companies, including startups, sectoral clusters, and national and international institutions participating, the forum will feature B2B meetings and plenary sessions on key themes like Tunisia’s appeal to returning diaspora.

A new study on brain drain and the attractiveness of returning to Tunisia will also be presented.

TGF is part of “Diaspora Month” (July 15–August 15, 2025), a series of events turning the summer, when many Tunisians abroad return home, into a platform of opportunity. The goal is to reconnect diaspora talent with local ecosystems, allowing them to share expertise and support national development.

Another event, Diaspora Regional Networking, will bring global Tunisian diaspora into contact with local business and startup ecosystems across regions to foster sustainable collaboration.

Founded in 1990, ATUGE has over 8,000 members worldwide and serves as a bridge between its network and economic stakeholders, recruiters, associations, and public/private institutions, with a mission to strengthen Tunisia’s global ties.
