The maiden flight of the new Tunisian private airline “Syphax Airlines” will be operated Saturday, May 19, 2012, from the Sfax-Thyna airport to the Sabiha airport of Istanbul.
The frequency of flights to the Turkish city will be two flights a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The airline is preparing also to start its flights to Libya.
The inaugural flight will take place in early June, with three flights a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the company said in a statement released Tuesday.
Syphax Airlines will operate other destinations in France from July, by linking Sfax to Lyon, Marseille and Nice.
A new route to Paris from Djerba will also be operated.
