Consumption of road fuels has decreased overall by 4% between late April 2015 and late April 2016 to 820 ktoe, while representing 59% of total consumption of petroleum products at the end of April 2016.
Ordinary diesel consumption decreased by 4%, that of unleaded gasoline 13% against an increase of 14% for diesel 50.
LPG consumption was down by 6% between late April 2015 and late April 2016 to 215 ktoe.
Fuel consumption has decreased by 64% because it was not used in electricity production.
Petroleum coke consumption fell 6% between late April 2015 and late April 2016 and stood at 195 ktoe.
Regarding the kerosene consumption, it has posted an 18% drop.
As for aviation jet consumption, it continues its downward trend after the attack on the Bardo Museum and the Sousse attack with 16% less than the same period last year.
