Investments in projects whose cost is higher than 5 million Tunisian dinars (MTD) have posted an increase of 209.5% from 108.8 MTD in the first two months 2015 to 336.7 MTD during the same period of 2016, according to the latest figures from the Agency for industry Promotion and innovation (APII) recently made public.
The number of projects increased from 11 to 25 during the first two months of 2016. These projects will create 1602 job positions, against 521 job positions during the first two months 2015, up 207, 5%.
It should be noted that projects of at least 5 MTD which represent only 4.1% of the number of reported projects and 18.4% of the number of jobs, total 56.9% of all reported investments.
