French group Plastics Groupe Holding, on Monday, announced that it is investing €1 million of its own funds to set up a plant in Tunisia.
French newspaper Les Echos, which reported the news, quoted Jérôme Lempereur, chairman of SGH medical Pharma, who added that “this new site will handle complex finishing operations: assembly, packaging, labelling, overwrapping – major manual operations that we had previously outsourced”.
The operation will be coordinated with the Tunisian partner who has been working exclusively for the Isère-based company for fifteen years. Its 60 employees will join the SGH workforce, bringing the total to 300.
