Investments reported in the industrial sector amounted to 3,291.1 MD in the first 11 months of the current year, compared to 2,876.4 MD in the first eleven months of 2016, posting a rise of 14.4%.
This was stated by the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation (APII).
The number of projects reported reached 3,294 during the first eleven months of 2017 compared to 3,283 during the same period of 2016, up 0.3%.
These projects will create 51,825 jobs, compared to 48,050 jobs during the first eleven months of 2016, i.e. a rise of 7.9%.
During the month of November 2017, the declared investment in the industrial sector reached the amount of 290.6 MD, against 236.6 MD in the month of November 2016, thus recording an increase of 22.8%.
The number of projects reported reached 243 during the month of November 2017 against 305 in November 2016, down 20.3%.
These projects will create 4,064 jobs, compared to 4,275 jobs in November 2016, i.e. a decrease of 4.9%.
