The Average monthly money market rate in January stood at 7.24%, which is stagnant compared to that recorded in December, according to the daily indicators published by the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT).
In January 2018, the MMR amounted to 5.53%. This sharp increase year-on-year is due in particular to the raising of the central bank’s key rate twice, namely in March (+75 basis points) and in June (+100 basis points).
