Tunisia: ATB improves its NBI by 10% to more than 390 million dinars in 2024

At the end of December 2024, Arab Tunisian Bank’s (ATB) net banking income reached 391.3 million dinars, compared with 357.3 million dinars in 2023, an increase of 9.5%.

Income from banking operations reached 813.5 million dinars, compared with 763.3 million dinars at December 31, 2023, up 6.5%. Banking operating expenses increased by 4% from 406 million dinars to 422.2 million dinars.

Loans net of provisions and reserved agios reached 5,414 million dinars at the end of December 2024, compared to 5,366 million dinars at the same date in 2023, while customer deposits amounted to 7,107 million dinars, compared to 6,349 million dinars at the end of December 2023.

Sight deposits amounted to 2,205 million dinars, while savings deposits stood at 1,775.2 million dinars (+7.5%).

Finally, the bank’s operating expenses reached 237.9 million dinars at the end of December 2024, compared with 231.4 million dinars a year earlier, an increase of 2.8%.
