The value of circulating banknotes and coins (CBC) in Tunisia reached a new all-time high on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.
According to data from the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), the CBC amount nearly surpassed the 24.2- billion-dinar mark for the first time, an increase of 3 billion dinars, compared to the same date last year.
As the Eid al-Adha holiday approaches, cash circulation continued to rise, reaching 24.188 billion dinars, its highest level ever recorded.
