Hammamet: Bookings bounce back… Tunisians lead!

Hotel managers in Hammamet told Mosaïque FM that the summer season is seeing a strong rebound, with bookings up by 20% to 30% compared to 2023, considered a benchmark year for the tourism sector.

They emphasized their full readiness to welcome visitors in the best conditions, thanks to upskilled teams, round-the-clock service improvements and close coordination with local authorities to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

According to tourism professionals, Tunisia has regained its position as a top destination in traditional markets, especially France, the UK, and Algeria.

However, Tunisian tourists remain the top customer base, accounting for over 45% of total bookings.

Meanwhile, many foreign tourists expressed their satisfaction with their stay in Tunisia, praising the warm hospitality, natural scenery, quality hotel services and range of activities, adding that they felt safe and well cared for throughout their trip.
