Business and partnership meetings will be organized by the Export Promotion Center (CEPEX) in Kigali, Rwanda, from October 20 to 23, 2025.
According to CEPEX, the event offers Tunisian companies a valuable opportunity to explore the Rwandan market and establish business relations and partnerships with economic operators in this Central African highland country.
Tunisian companies expected to take part mainly operate in the agri-food sector, as well as mechanical and electrical industries: automotive components, industrial equipment, maintenance and repair, electrical and electronic equipment, integrated energy systems, and robotics.
Other areas include IT solutions such as e-commerce, cybersecurity, mobile payments, e-health, and e-banking.
The healthcare and wellness sector is also targeted, covering medical and paramedical products, medical devices and equipment, cosmetics, as well as various industries such as detergents, plastics, packaging, and construction materials.
Tunisia and Rwanda are working to expand their trade exchanges within the frameworks offered by the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
Both countries are also committed to strengthening bilateral economic ties and exploring cooperation opportunities in promising sectors, such as renewable energy and energy transition.
Already, cooperation projects in electricity and water distribution in Rwanda have been carried out in partnership with STEG International and SONEDE International.
