The stock market regained some ground at the close of Monday’s session. The benchmark index recorded a 0.3% increase to 12,323 points, on a modest volume of 3.9 million dinars (MD), according to the daily analysis by the brokerage Tunisie Valeurs.
Stock Analysis:
SOMOCER recorded the best performance of the session. The share of the ceramic tile specialist rose 4.4% to 0.480 dinars, on a turnover of 31 thousand dinars.
OTH was among the top gainers of the session. The holding company’s share increased 2.2% to 8.780 dinars, with a traded value of 242 thousand dinars.
STAR suffered the largest decline of the session. The share of the Tunisian insurance sector leader dropped 4.5% to 219.650 dinars, on very limited trading of 9 thousand dinars.
ARTES ended the session on a weak note. The share of the Renault car dealer fell 2.9% to 11.170 dinars, with a limited traded volume of 38 thousand dinars.
AMEN BANK also closed in negative territory. The share of PGI Group’s financial arm lost 0.4% to 45.800 dinars, contributing 1.6 MD to the market turnover.
