Tunisia launches tender to purchase 100,000 metric tons of soft milling wheat, traders say

Tunisia’s state grains agency has launched an international tender to purchase around 100,000 metric tons of soft milling wheat, Reuters quoted European traders as saying.

The tender is open to optional origins, allowing suppliers from various countries to participate. The deadline for submitting price offers is set for Tuesday, March 31.

The procurement is structured into four consignments of 25,000 tons each. Shipment is scheduled between May 5 and June 10, depending on the origin of the wheat.

This move follows a previous tender issued on March 6, in which the agency is believed to have secured a similar volume of approximately 100,000 tons.
