Tunisia: TABC launches ST2A in Africa

The Tunisia Africa Business Council (TABC) announced on Thursday the launch of the Alliance for Technological Sovereignty in Africa (ST2A), a pan-African consortium dedicated to advanced technologies and supporting the continent’s digital transformation.

According to TABC, the consortium aims to bring together leading Tunisian players specializing in information and communication technologies (ICT), telecommunications, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, health technologies, and high-value-added digital services, enabling them to collectively respond to major strategic projects across Africa.

The Alliance’s priority areas of intervention will include critical digital infrastructure, sovereign cloud solutions and secure data centers, terrestrial, submarine and satellite connectivity, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, Big Data, e-health, e-education, smart cities, fintech, e-government, digital identity, as well as space technologies and satellite applications.

Through this consortium, TABC seeks to promote Tunisian expertise in technology sectors, strengthen synergies among member companies, and contribute to positioning Tunisia as a regional technology hub serving Africa’s digital transformation and technological sovereignty.
