Tunisia: 42.6% of local entrepreneurs fear failure

The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM 2022-2023) on the entrepreneurship situation in Tunisia was presented during a conference at the IACE Enterprise House on Tuesday. The conference was followed by a panel discussion in the presence of various experts.

GEM presented the results of an Adult Population Survey (APS): Determinants, stages and effects of entrepreneurial activity in Tunisia and a National Expert Survey (NES): Conditions for Entrepreneurial Activity in Tunisia.

For example, in terms of entrepreneurship, Tunisians who are afraid of failure rank 32/49, which is a rather high percentage of 42.6% compared to 40.3% in 2015.

On the other hand, in terms of entrepreneurial intentions for the next three years, Tunisia ranks 4/49 in 2022, compared to 17/49 in 2015.
