The Angolan government-owned air transport company “TAAG” has acquired two new Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft at a cost of US$ 375,463,678.80 following a contract signed Friday at the headquarters of Eximbank, Washington, PANA reported, quoting the Angolan News Agency (ANGOP).
Led by the “TAAG” chief Pimentel Araujo, the Angolan delegation to the ceremony is made up of representatives from the Ministry of Finance, the National Civil Aviation Institute and the Angolan National Insurance Company (ENSA).
The Angolan delegation will then travel to Seattle, the Boeing headquarters, to receive the first plane which will take off for Luanda on Thursday.
The second plane is expected in the Angolan capital 7 July
