The Beninese government will next year renew the customs duty waivers on computer equipment, buses and equipment for petrol stations, ac c ording to the draft budget presented to the National Assembly.
According to the draft budget for 2010, the waivers, first announced in 2000, ha ve promoted access to businesses and new information technologies.
On public transportation, the government said the waiver was aimed at discouragi ng transportation on motorbikes.
The waiver on parts for the filling stations is meant to have most stations full y refurbished..
