The draft law on buildings in danger of collapse was drawn up in coordination with the various ministries concerned, as well as the municipalities of Tunis, Sfax, Bizerte and Sousse, and a representative of the Ministry of the Interior, said Minister of Public Works and Housing , Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri.
During a plenary session on Thursday to examine the draft law on buildings in danger of collapse, the Minister, in response to questions from MPs, stressed the importance of adopting this law in order to protect the safety of citizens and preserve the aesthetics of cities.
Other major projects are being planned by the Ministry of Public Works and will be launched as soon as the necessary funds are mobilised, she added.
A plenary session is scheduled for Friday.
