The US Oil Company, Chevron, Thursday held a seminar on investment projects in northern Cabinda province of Angola, PANA reported, quot i ng the country’s news agency, ANGOP.
The workshop was aimed at equipping civil servants and bankers with skills on ne w ways of drafting and assessing investment projects.
It was also aimed at empowering the participants with skills to draft and assess investment studies through the use of a software called Comfar-Expert III.
The provincial secretary for the public and private entrepreneurial sector, Bern ardo Machado, highlighted the importance of the workshop, saying it afforded par t icipants the opportunity to develop their entrepreneurial skills.
The director of Chevron public relations and governmental matters in Cabinda, Ma nuel Humberto Baquisse, urged the participants to use the new skills properly an d serve their purposes with efficiency.
