The Chinese government will provide for the entire cost of implementing the afe drinking water supply project in Oyo city, 550km north of Brazzaville, estimated at FCFA2.3 billion, PANA reported from the Congolese capital Friday.

Work on the project started last a year and will be implemented by Chinese company Zheing Wei Technic.
The project comprises three new boreholes, four underwater pumps, a water processing system, two processed water basins, a reversal plant and a water tower.
The Chinese Ambassador said at the project would strengthen the relations between the two countries.
For the Congolese Minister, “the project shows once again China’s desire to work towards improving the living conditions of friendly countries with which it has longstanding relations like Congo”.
”The project should help improve significantly the water supply in Oyo, thanks to our partners,” he said.
