Congo, Morocco sign agreement to enhance business ties

The Moroccan Centre for the Promotion of Exports and the Congolese Centre of Foreign Trade on Tuesday signed an agreement to enhance the business relations between the two countries, PANA reported Tuesday, quoting Radio Congo.

The agreement covers cooperation, including the exchange of information, capacity building and the sharing of expertise, as well as support for firms seeking to establish businesses in each other’s territory.

Morocco’s Minister of Industry, Trade and Information Technology, Abdel Kader Amara, who highlighted his country’s know-how in the fields of agriculture, industry, tourism and energy, said technology transfer from Morocco to Congo might help the Central African country to boost its economic growth.
