The United States will assist the Congolese government in its bid to promote of the country’s private sector, the US ambassador to Congo, Stephanie Sullivan, said on Tuesday at the end of talks with the Congolese minister of Industrial development and promotion of the private sector, Isidore Mvouba.
“The United States will assist by encouraging US companies to invest in the African country,” said Sullivan whose talks with the minister also focused on the ways and means to promote trade between the two countries.
“The Senior minister and I talked about projects we can find together between Congo and US, especially after the US-Africa leaders’ summit in Washington,” said Sullivan.
