The Province of Equator in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) on Wednesday held a round-table in Brussels on its investment opportunities, official sources said in the Belgian capital.
It was attended by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Belgium-Luxembourg-Af rica, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries.
A statement from ACP secretariat made available to PANA in Brussels said during discussions, the delegation from Equator presented investment opportunities in various sectors, particularly mines, energy, transport, infrastructure and dr edging of several rivers in the province covered by tropical forest.
The Congolese delegation was led by the governor of the province of Equator, Jea n-Claude Baende, accompanied by the minister in charge of the Economy, Willy Bomboto and Infrastructure, Thierry Agwabi.
