Egypt aims to be 75pc self-sufficient in wheat

Egypt, the world’s largest wheat importer, aims to be 75 per cent self-sufficient in wheat in 10 years, up from 55 per cent now, an Egyptian Agriculture Ministry official said on Tuesday.
