FAGACE organises awareness-raising day in Mauritania

The African Fund for Guarantee and Economic Cooperation (FAGACE) on Wednesday organised a one-day awareness raising and information Day for private operators to mark Mauritania’s entry into the Fund as the13th member.

The event attended by FAGACE Director-General, Libasse Samb, was held at the Mauritanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIAM).

Mr Samb said FAGACE was a financial instrument at the service of the private sector of member states for development, economic integration as well support for investment.

Created on 14 February 1977 in Kigali, Rwanda’s capital, FAGACE could soon see its corporate capital raised from CFA francs 30 billion to 100 billion, officials said.
