NTN Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “NTN”) has announced that its consolidated subsidiary, NTN EUROPE S.A., headquartered in Annecy, France—a manufacturer and distributor of bearings for automobiles, aircraft, and railway rolling stock, primarily in Europe and Africa—has acquired shares in La Tunisie Mécanique S.A. (LTM), a Tunisian manufacturer of automotive shock absorbers, effective May 19, 2025.
“In 2024, we established a headquarters at NTN Europe and have been expanding our product lineup while strengthening our sales network, primarily in Europe and Africa. To broaden our product range, we have selected shock absorbers, which are closely related to NTN Group’s world-leading first-tier corner modules (such as drive shaft and axle bearings, as well as strut supports),” stated NTN’s press release.
The company further explained, “By acquiring shares in LTM, we are deepening our involvement not only in sales but also in product development, manufacturing, and quality control.
As a shock absorber manufacturer, we will strive to increase sales by enhancing brand recognition and value in the market.”
