Iraq to resume flights to Tunisia

The Civil Aviation Authority of Iraq, announced, Thursday, it has signed air transport agreements with Tunisia and Morocco.

Under the agreements, 16 flights per month will be scheduled between Iraq and these two countries from the beginning of July, after a 22-year suspension.

“The agreements, which were signed between Iraq on the one hand, and Tunisia and Morocco, on the other hand, will provide for round-trips between Baghdad and Tunis, and between Baghdad and Marrakech,” said President of the civil Aviation Authority, Nasser al-Bandar.

The point is to stimulate economic and tourism activities and the relations between Iraq and the two countries, he added.
