Tunisia exported 71,508 tons of dates, until June 14, 2014, with a value 313.989 MTD against 81,000 tons worth 281,196 MTD during the period 2012-2013. This corresponds to a regression in terms of quantity against an increase in value.
According to the Fruits Inter-professional Grouping (GIF), prices have increased by 25%.
The main markets are Morocco with more than 18 thousand tons of dates, followed by France (7,768 tons), Malaysia (5,040) and Italy (4,132).
